Undesirable activity in the journey of life

Written by venkatraman

Sairam friends,

This morning, I expected a dream from Sai to guide me but it did not happen. I did got some dreams but could not remember them. So I opened a Saibaba’s book and the first word I saw was this one “Undesirable Activity”.  The words appear in a context where a devotee in 1942 decideds to leave Mumbai and moves to Kolkatta in order to escape the problems happening during Quit India Movement. So he means to say “Undesirable activity” is being troubled by someone if he remains in Mumbai during such unrest.

Sai appears as a pathan (sevak) and takes the man to Rainway station. Those days, it takes 1 or 2 Rupees to reach Railway station by cart but this pathan just said “Give me 8 Annas in your pocket”. Surprisingly that’s the little money the devotee had withhim apart from the money he had for ticket. As soon as he got it, the pathan disappeared.

Saibaba has helped several people during their travel.

But the word “Undesirable Activity’ means something else to me and it made me feel more guilty. I must have lost my senses in order for Sai himself to send across such a message to me.  Was it undesirable for someone else or Sai himself? Am I so bad?

Seems I will keep asking these questions until few days when I could completely forget the past.

These days, the only other diversion I have is listening to some beautiful songs which was a part of my life. One of my favourite singer is Lucky Ali.  I previous wrote an article about it

Remembering those beautiful days when I was myself

Yesterday, I kept listening to 2-3 Lucky Ali songs. My most favourite song is Lucky Ali’s Sifar for it was shot on roads in the U.S – ( Route 66 in Arizona)

I love roads…travel shots and the way you portray strangers you come across. I wish to make a film just on roads.

Here’s the song..

How much I love this song..I kept humming. It fills my heart so much.

Pyaar ko hi maanke chalte jaana
Dekha hai aise bhi, kisi ko aise hi
Apne bhi dil mein basaye hue kuch irade hain
Dil ke kisi kone bhi kuchh aise hi waade hain

Inko liye jab hum chale nazare bhi humse mile.
Oh
Dekha hai aise hi, kisi ko aise hi
Hanste hansaate yun sab ko manaate hum jaayenge

Barson ki doori ko milake hum saath mitayenge
Pyaar rahe unke liye jo dhoonde woh unko mile

And roughly translated

I left my house, all alone
Who’s with me in this journey? Its my friend.

I had done what ever I had to
Only the belief I have in my love is helping me move on
in this journey

I saw someone exactly like that ( As if I have seen her before)

I have some feelings/intentions in my heart
In the corner of my heart, there are some promises
I am out in this journey to fulfil those promises and even your eyes met mine.

I saw someone exactly like that as if I have seen her before
I keep traveling making everyone I come across to smile.
Let’s finally meet and overcome years of seperation.
Love comes to those who go in search of it….

It’s a song which portrays a travel nomad. He meets a tarrot reader who says that he has been here before but he forgot. When ever I listen to this song, I too wish to make a travel song. It must be super cool.

I just wish that I reduce the mistakes and “Undesirable Activity” in the journey of my life and Sai holds my palm. So tight that I won’t take the wrong path.

Sai, take me in your path of light.

Every step I take, Every move I make, Its should be mapped by you Sai

Venkat
