When someone is weak, You feel like kissing them

Sai Baba
Written by venkatraman

Sairam friends,

I went to buy some stuff last evening but I feel like I had only been to Shirdi Saibaba temple. Where ever I go, I remember Sai for some reason and its like I am with Sai every moment. My Ma was not well as she has bent down to fix pipe and fetch water. The nerves in her legs used to pull and I get really upset about it. So I was near her few minutes. I was shouting at her that she must have called up Pa or waited until I come home and not behave like this.

Meanwhile, Here’s a Photo contributed by a Sai devotee, Thangam

I had the following dream…

I see myself in the colony Siddhi Vinayaka temple and also see some guys at my work walking over the streets adjacent to it.It was dark and someone gives me Tirupati Venkateswara prasad which I have happily. Then, I walk ahead in the road. I see a security guard standing near the compound wall holding a newspaper. He recogonizes me though it was dark and was about to walk away. He looks at the Map of Africa in the Newspaper and tells me “Lets kiss Africa” and kisses the Map.

I was wondering why he did that? He continues to say “When someone is weak, You feel like kissing them”

I nodded to him and he walks away.

I woke up and thought why I got such a dream? Probably because I keep looking at ads of Africa in Newspaper now a days.

I personally believe “Weak” here do not denote the economic status of Africa but the weakness in its culture. “Weakness” of Children and Women who must to be loved and respected better. In a way, if these kids and women get better education and if the African countries grows economically, the culture too naturally will get better.

Few days back, When we had kept Navratri Gollu at home, an Aunty came to our house with her Mother. The grandmother knew me from childhood. They were waiting until I reach home since they were eager to see me. The old women’s palm was shivering but she took my palm in her’s and spoke to me. Aunty was sitting near her and spoke to me since she has seen me after several years too. She got settled in Vizag and came Coimbatore to she her Mom.

Usually, when we keep Gollu for Navratri, I reach home late as my Ma invites many guests. I feel better not to disturb them and if I reach home early, I sit in my room. The next day, I reached home everyone were getting ready to leave and were in the Varanda. I entered the hall when this Aunty called me to take a step near her. I did. She blew over my forehead and kissed me on my forehead. I touched her feet and got her blessings as I usually do this when I was in Mumbai.

I felt really kind and affectionate of Aunty to kiss me because that’s a beautiful gesture.

I just din’t know why she did it?

After this dream, I realized, probably, she found me too weak to be happy in life and wanted to assure me through her gesture that my life is going to be good.

Spiritually, this also portrays the differentiation we show between fair and the dark skinned. In India, someone who is fair is considered beautiful and the one who is dark is consider “OK”.  May be,it tells me the importance of spreading the message that we must not ignore anyone based on the color of their skin.

I had written about Africa in few articles below.

The book which inspired me to work for Womens Rights

( I read above book by the African girl who escaped Africa to seek asylum in the U.S where she was in prison for over 4 years and finally got her freedom. Anyway, I do nothing for any women’s rights accept writing few articles and telling few close friends the value of respecting women)

Human trafficking and Spiritual Trafficking

Anyway, I really don’t know why such strange dreams and what’s the benefit of writing such dreams?
