Roads are not made for racing

Sairam friends,

Yesterday, I was having lots of fun at work. At times, I get tensed a lot but that’s part of who I am. In the evening, one of my friend who met with an accident couple of month back called up and requested if I can get him some documents.

I went to his room and found him still having trouble walking. He seems to have another surgery this month. I assured him to collect the documents from hospital and give his friend. He was a nice, hardworking guy and I prayed for him to get back to work soon.

He wasn’t racing and had met with accident because of rash driving of another man. Somehow, I felt like writing this article for many guys who think they are achieving something when they showoff with their bike/car. India being a highly populated country will never be a good place to show off driving skills. Either you bring trouble for yourself or others. To be clear, its also punishable if your way of driving scares other people on road.

Even people driving normally are meeting with accidents in India and loosing their life. Some are facing painful days for month together.

I have met few guys in colleges who had expressed that they stopped riding fast after they saw an accident. Men start to loose their passion for driving fast etc after they are bombarded with lots of other responsibilities in life.

We must be responsible while driving and help others travel safe.

There are several incidents in Sai Satcharitra which tells tales about how Sai protected his devotees by warning them not to travel. When these devotees travel without bothering Sai’s words, they face some accident.

OK. Now, I am going to Hospital and then to near by Nagasai Mandir.

Love,

Venkat
