This morning, I was speaking to one of my client who’s 30 years old and her husband is 32. They have 2 kids. Lets imagine, they live in Mumbai. A few years back, working in IT industry with a decent package was seen as “Secured” life. Today, even in early 30s, these young couples have a sense of deep insecurity in them. So, they plan their finances carefully when they buy a new home.
Young India is living with fear of insecure career, health issues and adding to that, relationship issues gets complicated for a few. Most of the emails and messages I receive are when people face problems and not when their life is good. So, I like to address people who face struggles in their education, career and relationships.
Being stable in one’s career and a decent cash-flow is the foundation of a peaceful life. When EMIs are seen as burden and job security isn’t assured, one gets into worries.
We are speaking about upper middle class families in such mindset.
We are taxed with no basic facilities. Imagine a Data scientist in Delhi riding back home, lost his life due to poor road infrastructure. A recent report suggested 7 to 8 Crore young Indians are neither studying nor doing any job. So what will happen to them if they have such prolonged setbacks in their effort to hold on to a career or do a small business?
A Government is worried about bunch of people. What they have is statistics. Saints like Shirdi Saibaba are antaryami. They live in the heart of every single devotee. Your Sai lives in you and listens to you.
What if I become a Fake Guru?
I don’t want to call others fake. Let me take myself for example and what would happen if I am hailed as a Guru?. Firstly, I know that I am not always kind. I am not always good. My thoughts, words and deeds may not be compared to a real guru. So, I could only become a fake guru.
Let’s say, I myself become a fake guru. I can preach stuff. Ask people to do some sadhana and build huge wealth. This is what is happening today in spiritual domain. People are behind some dam guru’s who cannot work for them. Can I work for you? I cannot. I can listen to your worries, your situation in life and offer some basic guidance but I might be wrong too because my guidance might be influenced by my own ideologies and what comes to my mind at the point of time.
Why our ancient saints can work for your individually?
Being Antaryami – the one who is within yourself is not possible for me or any fake guru. Our ancient saints has this ability to know you, your past, your current thoughts and what’s right for you without you uttering a word to them. In most cases, this characteristic of being antaryami is seen as “Miracle”.
When a devotee meets Saibaba in Dwarakamai, he was able to tell their problem and why they have come. Even in such situation, Sai never exposed his ability directly. He used to say short stories (Parables) to a bunch of devotees and only a devotee who knows that it is his life story will understand Sai’s greatness.
Saibaba was able to communicate the past happenings in one’s life. Saibaba once asked a devotee not to have curd as he had asthma. But this devotee was addicted to having curd. He used to keep curd in his home in Shirdi. A cat used to come and have it and run away everyday. Once this devotee used a cane and beat this cat and it ran screaming in pain. The next day, when he goes to Dwarakamai, Saibaba removes his kafni and shows his back. The devotee was shocked to see mark of cane stick on Sai’s back.
Sai proved that he is one among these animals like cats and dogs. If you hurt a human or animal, Sai is experiencing the pain.
Can I do this? I cannot.
Can the several YouTube Guru’s you watch do this? They cannot.
This is why you should hold on to the feet of Guru who can work from your heart. They know you. They know your family, your past, your future and what you should do to have a better future.
My writings are not always structured. I type as it comes to my mind.
But hope you could connect the dots.
India has lots of problems unlike other countries because our politicians are pathetic. So, consider worshipping Shirdi Saibaba. I am not saying Sai can solve all your problems. It has never happened to me. But I can assure you will be happy for being in touch with a Guru who lives in you.
Sai is antaryami.
Note – This article should not be taken as a way of making people to be devoted to Saibaba. I have seen people who never go to temple, never have any guru but they are good people. Guru is for those who need a guru. If you think, you do not need a guru, just be good and work for your life.
My point is, do not be upset when Shirdi Saibaba does not seem to fulfill your desire. Atleast he won’t misguide you. He won’t loot your money. He won’t ask for anything. He lives in you and may not change your life as you asked for but he won’t take you in wrong ways. This is my assurance. He will provide for you. He has assured food, shelter and clothing. Rest is your hardwork.
