How Sai Baba blessed Somnath Shankar Deshpande to get an increment in his salary?
Nana Saheb Nimonkar was an ardent devotee of Saibaba and he used to serve Sai in Dwarakamai. Baba also loved him a lot. This leela is about how Sai Baba helped Nimonkar’s Son Somnath to get better salary.
Somnath was working as Police Sub-Inspector in Kopergoan. Right from the beginning of his Career in Police department, he started sending Rs.2 by Money Order to Sai Baba in Shirdi. This was his Father’s order or probably his vow that his Son would send Rs.2 every month as only Sai baba has blessed him with a good job.
Once Nimonkar took his Son Somnath to Saibaba in Shirdi for darshan. As soon as Sai saw Somnath, he asked him 10 Rupees as Dakshina. Those days, 10 Rupees was certainly a good sum. But Somnath immediately offered 10 Rupees to Sai.
Both Nimonkar and his Son had no idea why Sai asked for this Dakshina but they felt blessed.
After 6 month, Somnath received an order from his police department that his pay was increased by 10 Rupees from that date when he actually gave dakshina to Sai.
