Sairam friends,
After many days of patience, I got my first Photography assignment next week. I bought my new Flash unit and also a new Prime lens.
When I was really depressed about the way these people treat me in my office, I asked Saibaba on how to proceed? Sai asked me to launch my website to organize photographers. When I interviewed several photographers, I myself naturally got back my love for Photography.
I stopped watching movies for years. Yesturday, I found its my friend who directed the Tamil movie 96. We both used to go to Ooty to do Photography during our Vis.Comm days. My Father worked for Tamilnadu Transport corporation. So he used to send us with a Jeep which goes out for checking. We both would stop the jeep in any places we love to shoot and walk around!
We used to discuss a lot on composition and how to shoot better photographs. The last I met him was in German Cultural centre in Chennai during a film festival. I felt nostalgic remembering my past.
(I will never meet him again as remembering too much of past isn’t good for mind)
In September 2018, I met my Editor after more than 10 years. He also asked me not to leave filmmaking completely and keep doing something. I wish to interview him next time, I go to Chennai.
In anycase, I am basically a writer, photographer and filmmaker. Life pushed me to where I am today. Probably, Sai thought I will be happy if I get back to Photography and Video production.
Now, the problem is handling both my current full time job and the assignments I get. My parents never wanted me to leave my job but what if I lost the job eventually.
So its better, I manage to do both as of now. Atleast, during weekends.
I am still remembering my days in the U.S. I wish to go back to U.S next year too and cycle with my niece. When ever I see photography of Black hills, Mount Rushmore and any places in South Dakota, I feel nastalgic.
I will surely do something or the other to visit my Sister once every 2 years. I will do it for lifetime.
I am happy that Sai is showing me a way. I feel insecured and depressed at times but that’s how life works.I am not destined to get what I want. So Saibaba will bless me with what he knows would eventually make me happy.
