Being positive

Sairam friends,

I went early from work yesterday with my friend to collect a wedding gift we had given for one of our friend. We don’t know where else to go. So we decided to go to Shirdi Saibaba temple and spent few minutes there. We had prasad – Coconut rice. Then, a man clad in saffron dress came in a car with his own followers and went inside the Saibaba temple main hall. As we started back home, the man who obviously is a false saint according to me was applying holy ash to everyone of his followers standing in car parking. Honestly, only the people are encouraging such false saints just because they show them little skills in spirituality and speaking skills.

I kept telling my friend that I like watching such build up scene they are making and laughing at it. There are true saints even today but its really not possible to access them. I know saints who behave like mad and never bother anyone roaming in road sides. Now a days, even such kind of holy men are hard to find. During early 20th century too, there were many good saints in various parts of India.

Anyway, One has to be clear that Shirdi Saibaba belongs to the Datta parampara and he is Guru of all Gurus. Saint of all Saints. Hence we must believe Sai strongly and be happy with him.

I came home, had food and was speaking to my parents. Then, My Mom said she has few articles in The Hindu -Tamil news paper for me and wanted to read it for me. She told me not to sit infront of computer and listen to her. So I listened to what she read. My Ma keeps telling me that I must live positively and not get fed up with life.

I forgot the name of the book but its an excerpt from the same. The author is a motivational speaker in U.S and suggested the following.

1. Look for any situation when people speak negatively or against you and give 7 positive answers to them. Certainly it will come true.

2. People say you cannot do something because they judge you based on their own experiences but you could be someone better and try better.

3. What ever you want to achieve in life, repeat that 7 times regularly and that will make your dream come true.

I listened to it and came back to sleep.

I wanted to buy a beautiful book shelf and arrange all my books, buy more books. My Mom said that there’s no space to keep book shelf. I also found there’s no space in my room which can accommodate it. May be I must build a first floor and have a room dedicated to books, shooting and editing. May be It will come true.

Anyway,  I am writing from laptop since desktop net is too bad.

OK friends…

Sai bless

Venkat
