Sairam friends,
When I was in Mumbai a few years back, I stayed in a flat with my friend in Borivali East. I used to have a small Dattatreya and Saibaba statue in the corner of the room. Sometimes, I do late night pooja. My friend Ashish once reached the flat at around 11 PM and got shocked that I lit lamp which was burning with a big flame. Only when I started to write this, I could remember why he got shocked.
I lit 2 Lemon Lemons along with the usual bronze lamp I had. I had switched off the tube light and did some chanting of Sai. Honestly, I am not sure if I was playing with lamps or really chanting. I could only say, I did it with devotion. But doing pooja late at night is not something you would do normally. (Please do not do it.).
I probably did it as it was Saturday, I did not had a train to catch the next morning and I was reading about the first avatar of Lord Dattatreya – Shree Paadha Shree Vallabha who lived in 13th century.
I used to hug Sai Satcharitra and sleep at times. I usually get strange dreams and here’s one of them.
Kaliyug gets worse stage by stage over the years
Some of the dreams Saibaba blessed me with are about spiritual secrets and nothing to do with my life. Just that, I usually do not write it on StarSai.
There’s a Demon called Kali Purusha. Why are already living in Kali Yug which means the righteous people will wonder why the unrighteous gets everything in life?
I do not wish to describe the dream but the message was clear. Seems, Kal Purusha makes the world worse stage by stage. This is why, people who are in 20s might feel their Childhood was better. Those who are in 40s will feel that people were better when they were in 20s.
I always used to tell my Mom that, I like to go back to 300 years from now, assuming it was good. Probably, it was good in my perception but a lot more evil, slavery, lust, and greed were prevalent back then too.
So, how can we say that the world is getting worse due to Kali’s dominance stage by stage over every 10 to 20 years? When everyone becomes heartless and selfish, what’s normally bad will be accepted as normal. This is something, I have realized over the years.
Anyway, I just felt like writing today about this because, I have a feeling that people were better a few years back. I could feel it personally in StarSai. Earlier, most of the emails and messages I receive were normal. People tell me their problems and experiences but they know that I am as ordinary as them. But today, some of the emails and messages I receive are from those who assume that I offer a solution. People wanted to know when their problems will get solved. People need instant answers.
I have my own life as example. If you worship Shirdi Saibaba, he will take you through experiences that makes you a better human. He may not satisfy all your desires. There are some disappointments that you might face. But this is what has happened in everyone’s life. Even our ancestors accepted it. Kings and Queens living in palace accepted such uncertainties.
This is why I never speak only about Saibaba’s miracles. Attraction to Sai miracles will make us believe we will always be successful and all our desires will get fulfilled. Not really. That’s not life. May be, it’s true for some people but vast majority face some kind of disappointments in their life.
What matters is devotion.
Show devotion on Shirdi Saibaba and any Goddess you love.
Accept uncertainties in life because people are not as good as before. You just have to hope that those whom you come across should be good.
