Took my Amma to Shirdi Sai Baba temple near the IT Park in Coimbatore

Shirdi Saibaba temple, Coimbatore

Om Sai Ram friends,

I received a few mails from Sai devotees asking why I am not writing regularly on StarSai. To be honest, after my Appa passed away, my Amma’s health required attention and hence my life is centered around taking care of my Amma.

I live for my Amma and Appa and I am also struggling in other issues.

I keep believing that my Appa is taking care of us and perceive him as my Guru.

My Sister is visiting us from US during the first 2 weeks of August. So, I am preparing our home for their safe and happy stay.

Today, I had been to my Mom’s Sister’s home and on our way back, I visited the Shirdi Sai Baba situated close to the India Land IT Park in Coimbatore. It’s in a place called Saravanampatti-Keeranatham. I have a very beautiful memory of visiting this temple when I was working in my previous company. Today, as we reached temple at around 8.30 PM, no one was in the temple. Only the priest was there.

I told Amma that I have beautiful memory of visiting this temple regularly a few years back. Once, I had taken my parents there. I remember my Appa found a couple walking back to road and he asked me to stop the car and drop them near their home. My Appa always warns me not to give lift to strangers but somehow he judges if someone really needs help. I had a sweet memory of my Appa’s kind gesture.

Nowadays, I always tell Sai devotees not to depend on Saibaba to fulfill all their desires. Because Saibaba never assures that all our desires will be fulfilled. I know how much I suffered because of a few dreams in which I believe Saibaba misguided me. I questioned Saibaba on why he did this to me?

Anyway, I took my Amma back home talking about how my Appa used to care for me.
