Sairam friends,
I wish to share something that has been going on in my mind for the past few weeks. Everyday, I visit this beautiful Shirdi Saibaba temple in Coimbatore called Nagasai Mandir. It’s only of the ancient Saibaba temple built in 1930s. Having said that, the past couple of years, I started to have some annoying experience while I am in the temple.
99% of the Saibaba devotees who come to Sai temple are basically good. They just come, worship Saibaba, have a good time and go back home. But 1% who come to Saibaba temple are honestly annoying. They simply come to temple to show-off and irritate others.
Saibaba’s dream about something which might happen in the entrance of the temple
It was as if a girl is hurt in the entrance of the temple and I few people are surrounding her. I suddenly see myself in this place. I tell the girl like this
“I am not saying that you are laid down in the path to my home and disturbing me but there’s something called hospital and you should consider going to hospital”.
The girl agrees and some of us are helping her get up to take her to near by hospital.
That’s it.
I woke up and told my Amma saying “Baba showed a dream as if something happens in entrance of Saibaba temple. And it’s funny, instead of calling it a temple, I am telling the girl you are in the path to my home”.
I told Amma that I subconsciously see this temple as my home.
I live my life like kids in Kinder garden. Every day, I work late through the night and morning too. Evening between 5 to 6, I sleep atleast 15 minutes near my Amma. You know, kids in kinder garden school will get a nap time after lunch. I got this dream during such a nap time.
It was a Thursday and hence, I went to Saibaba temple as usual. I was deeply concerned as they were building a flyover infront of the temple and hence I hate it when cars and vehicles do not listen to security and come opposite direction blocking the way for cars coming into the entrance of the temple.
The dream made me feel that one should be careful while entering the temple in vehicle because I don’t want any devotee to be hurt as I saw in the dream.
Today, while entering the temple in my car, I saw a Jeep going out of the temple blocking my way to get in. I felt irritated. I yelled at those people saying not to come in opposite direction until flyover work is done. Later, I drove ahead and asked couple of staff working for temple that they are allowing VIPs to drive in the opposite direction and it’s not safe.
Later, I went to sweep the main hall in temple.
Spent time near holy Dhuni.
I shared this incident to a devotee whom I see as well wisher. I told him that I am not able to keep my mouth shut when I see people not following rules in the temple. I added that it’s better to stay calm and not comment on people who do not care for other’s safety.
That’s it.
Why this title.
In Saibaba temple and many others places like your college, your office, even your neighborhood, you might come across people who annoy you.
The lesson Shirdi Saibaba wants to teach you is simple.
Tolerate them.
In Tamil there’s a beautiful word called “Sagiputhanmai”.
Being tolerant will make you lead a peaceful life because you cannot change others.
As for the dream goes, I hope Saibaba will take care of his children who visits the temple.
I love this temple and I see this as a part of my soul.
Om Sai Ram
