Dear friends I am not a good writer but I want to share some of my experience with my baba .

After coming to the feet of my baba my life took a U turn which in word i wont be able to express . It is baba who saved my mother when she was lying all alone in our flat , which was in 3rd floor. I and my bhabi was on the way to Delhi in Rajdhani . she came to see off in BBSR railway station and after going from station she had an attack .

The doors were closed . And when my train reached cuttuck I gave a call to her and she was that time lying near the land line phone and her voice was too low . I could come to know that she had an attack as she was complaining of having savior pain in chaist . The doors were closed from inside and that too my house was in 3rd floor . For which I was just making her cool over phone and said her to take courage to get up and open the main door and to inform our immediate  neighbor.

Saibaba’s care on Mother

My train was moving towards Delhi and I was just crying holding babas photo which i carry every time . I prayed baba to save my mother and I will come to Siridi . I gave a call to my cousins who rushed to my place and took my mother to Aditya Care Hosp by an auto . Where the Dr said it to be a major cardiac arrest and she was taken to ICU .

Its really Sai who saved her:

I am from Kharagpur returned to hospital and when I went inside my mother who is a strong believer of Lord Jaganath Bhagwan said me that the Auto she brought in that she saw a Big photo of my Baba and she said me that my baba saved her . Thanks to my sweet baba . Who has become my heart and soul .

Went to Shirdi to thank Baba:

She got well soon by bless of my baba and I kept my promise . The day she got discharged I went that same day to Siridi . He also saved my younger brother who recently had an road accident and had a brain hamrage but my saved him . Thanks to my baba and may baba bless everyone and bring all to his feet.

Offering Food and Blanket to poor :

Just to share a small incident where i felt baba reads our heart. I did Baba’s 9 Vrats but somehow due to mental stress and other uncalled reasons i could not do a proper udyapan of this vrat. So i thought i shall atleast do some daan to few needy people on the 9th thursday i.e . on 12/1/2012. By deepest of my heart i wanted to go to a dargah and offer some food as well as some blankets to the fakirs or poor people there. But somehow i was unable to do so. I went to Ganesha & Maa Jogeshwari Temple and offered the poor there, but had still left with one blanket and some food. I was unable to find any more poor people so i thought of returning back home but all my way i kept thinking i should have gone to a dargah…………

I was just 1 Km away from my home and i went to a small baba’s shrine situated near my house and was returning a suddenly i saw four fakirs sitting near the temple (which normally never happens), i stopped and went to them and offered food to them they happily took it and one of the fakir asked me” beti bahot thandi hai hamay odhney ke liye kuch nahi layi” listening to it i burst out of tears and gave him that last blanket, he then blessed me and said we are going to Haji Malang and will pray for you and your family and said Allah tera bhala karay.

Venkat this is a very small incidence but i could feel Baba there and after many months i smiled from the bottom of my heart. I thank Baba for everything and being there with all of us.

Planning to Cook for Shirdi Sai baba and offer in Sai mandhir inChicago  temple:

“You can still contribute,i was watching these inner voice talking to my self.Suddenly i saw the same saibaba graciously showing his lotus feet towards me,then i started washing his feet and putting chandan,Kukum and doing Aarathi to his feet.”

 All of a suden my friends told that they all did Pada Pooja for Baba….

Which really thrilled me….and also i got my share of grapes where poojari gave a whole packet to my friends.When we checked it we found four bunches of grapes were there (we four freinds only planned for this service)It was amazing !!!

Shirdi Saibaba is a saint who accepted devotion offered in any forms and ways. Many sai devotees used to write me that they did Sai Nav guruvar vrat for 9 weeks and some would say that they did StarSai Shradha Saburi Pooja looking at our site and recently i hear many sai devotees interested in lighting Coconut lamps for Saibaba.

Honestly, You can do any pooja or way of worship you wish pray Shirdi Saibaba:

In 2010 i receieved a mail from a sai devotee who said StarSai is misleading in a way because when Sai lived, were there any of these pooja/rituals. Then why do you direct sai devotees to shradha saburi pooja, lemon lamps pooja and ofcourse coconut lamps pooja etc.

Ofcourse i also believe Saibaba can be worshipped in any comfortable ways you choose friends..

1. You can sing/recite Shirdi Saibaba aarti all 4 times of day or atleast listen to it once

2.You might choose to do holy parayan of Sai Satcharitra by Hamadpant or atleast a page a day.

3.You might simply visit a Near by Shirdi Saibaba temple and relax with Sai.

4.You may also involved in any good deeds like helping someone in education, giving food to hunger, taking someone to hospital etc. While doing this if your mind keeps chanting “Sairam, Sairam , Sairam, That too is a blessing from sainath.

Then why i request Devotees to light lamps, offer naivaidhya(food) to sai,Involve in good deeds ?

Here are the points…

1. Poojas in StarSai can help devotees to divert their mind from worries and problems:

If you keep looking at a Shirdi saibaba statue and Photo in our house pooja place for five minutes with devotion, i am sure you can feel sai is looking back to you. Sai is present where ever devotees look at him with love.  But when you are worried about yourlife, your parents health, some relationship problems, childrens education, problems in office etc will you be able to focus on Sai?

Instead lets say you play a Sai Aarti on computer or DVD player or ipod and take a print out of Aarti from starsai and recite it everyday atleast the days you are  free like sunday etc, wont you feel happy? I am sure atleast for few seconds you will forget your problems and feel peaceful.

This is why i encourage sai devotees to play Shirdi Saibaba Kakad Aarti every morning even if they are in hurry to go to office. ( If every one in home agrees to do so , or its ok)

2.Most of the pooja i wrote in StarSai involves lighting lamps:

Personally i am a believer of “Lighting Lamps” friends. Sai always tells things indirectly through incidents in his life. We all know from Sai satcharitra that Saibaba lit lamps using water in his holy Dwarakamai.

Lets say some one writes me about their problem and ask me to pray for them. I myself will come tired from Office or some work in Sai baba temple in my home town. Will i be very fresh and in peaceful mind to pray whole heartedly for that devotee. Ofcourse i am a well wisher of every pure hearted Sai devotee or anyone whos not a devotee at all if they are good souls.So i will surely pray for them.

3.My intention is to show devotees a way, Try to make them take one step ahead to feel the Sai in them :

Sometimes Sai devotees even light many lamps and write me back with photos how beautifully they did pooja. I will be really pleasing to see how simply they did pooja and how my words has become action of divinity.

Which is what i try to do here in StarSai

“What we write must bring about a Change in others life. “

When a devotee did some pooja for Sai, i am sure they would have diverted their mind towards Sai instead of worrying about past and future. They will belief that Baba is going to help them for sure. This enhances faith which is all we need.

Their heart gets purified and inspires good Thoughts and actions. It will surely help them take good decisions in life.

I can pray for a Devotees welfare but how sweet it will be if a Devotee themseleves realizes the Sai in them?

Sai is Antaryami , The one who lives in the ways of your heart. Sometimes its hard to realize this and the devotee this he/she is different from Sai .In Sai Satcharitra we learn that Devotee and Guru are one and the same. Thus while doing pooja, in this fast world , devotee subconciously realizes that Sai lives in themseleves and working for their welfare.

Chanting “Sairam, Sairam,Sairam” 50,000 Times a day

and mailed me it doesn’t make any sense because will Saibaba bless only a person who chants his name so many times? Trust me, My intention is to express how much time is there in a day to chant the holy name of Sai.So its surely possible to chant and remember Sai internally by doing such Naaam smaran

when we travel in vehicle,

when we do any Odd job

or when we relax /worry about past and future.

Why not spend just few minutes to Chant the holy name of our sweet Saint?

Same is the case with the pooja i wrote in StarSai…

Your mind gets involved in something good , then thats my goal. I again and again request devotees not to stick to the pooja/ritual methods. If you don’t have earthern lamps light lemon lamps, if you can’t light lamps at all as you may stay in a room or in hostel..fine, just lamps in your imagination..that will do. I never say that one who does the poojas i wrote are going to be blessed and others are not.

Pooja is to help you and Sai meet – When you take time to do Pooja, you think “Sai’. Thats my Goal:

Infact there are devotees who write me that i did pooja , still saibaba has not fulfilled my desires. Friends, Pooja is for making you and Sai Meet. Its sai who decides what to give you and when to do it.

About Sai Navguruvar vrat Pooja: My opinion

Though i have wrote about Sai Navguruvar vrat pooja years back and many devotees has followed it looking at StarSai, I have a different opinion to express. Personally, i request Devotees to read a Page in Sai satcharitra instead of vrat books. I also recommond Sainath Stavan Manjari written by Das GanuMaharaj.

I request devotees to have little vegetarian food  or milk,coffee,tea,fruits etc even during vrat because

Saibaba never allowed his devotees to be in Hunger.So have Little food/fruits.Please…

Saibaba himself will cook food in huge pot for his devotees and share the food he got by begging alms in five houses in Shirdi .Will such a motherly Saint allow his devotees to starve in hunger in name of a Ritual.

Its not important to Follow any rituals/methods strictly and never think only if you do, your desires will be fulfilled:

Secondly, devotees keep writing me about availability of Sai vrat book for distribution. I clearly tell them its ok if they don’t do it.  some devotees are confused as many versions of such books are out there in market. So better focus on simple pooja friends..This is the reason i have a simple solution, get such books if you can or simply read a Chapter from Sai Satcharitra by Hamadpant .

The same rules appliy to Shradha saburi pooja and other pooja i wrote in StarSai…Do what you can afford and feel comfortable about doing. There are no strict rules in Kingdom of Saibaba.

I hope you understood why i wrote Pooja in StarSai and humbly request devotees to recite Aaarti, Light lamps, offer Naivaidhya ( food in little plate to sai every morning or simply a glass of water which you can later have as prasad).

Nava Vidha Bhakti from Sai Satcharitra:

I wrote this article because StarSai will live for thousands of years and during my lifetime i must write what i meant to do instead of Confusing Sai children. Infact even a devotee who does not do any pooja and simply remembers Sai in his/her own ways are blessed. What matters is purity of mind, thoughts and good deeds.

In kaliyug, Chanting Saints name is auspicious and thats something i always request devotees to do.

Writing Sai Sai Sai one crore times

Sairam,

I started writing Shri Shirdi Sai Baba’s name everyday. I wrote his name SAI for 1 crore times.
I started that book on DUSHEERA – 6 Oct, 2011 being Thursday. I finished writing that book on 21 st December 2011 also being a Thursday. Once you are done with the book, offer food to people on Thursday.

Just a day before finishing the book, i.e on Wednesday night I realized that the next Thursday is with Vishaaka Nakashtra (thats my birth nakshatra). According astrology, any work done with ones birth nakshatra falling on a Thursday is auspicious.

Secondly, I finished that book in 78 days = 7 + 8 = 15. 1 + 5 = 6. 6 is the lucky number for librans.
I simply love Sai baba, his name itself strengths me and make my life easier and smoother.
All the name in our house are names after him. Like Sai Kiran, Shirisha, Sai Vrushank, Sai Sudeep,
Sai Dudin, Sai Satvik etc …

May baba have his immense blessings on all of us… I totally surrender myself to him …

Shirdi Saibaba photos in coconut lamps pooja

A week before i was walking by Sakthi dham temple in saibaba colony and wished to go into the Mandhir. I saw the priest of Hanuman Mandhir who is close to me. I offered 51 Rupees as Dakshina to Hanuman. The priest said with a smile

” Hanuman wont accept this,you must give 500 Rs to buy sweets because his birthday is coming”.

Offering Dakshina to get Sweets for Hanuman – Anjaneya Jayanthi:

I simply laughed and offered 51 Rs. I sat and felt may be Hanuman really wanted me to Offer sweets for Hanuman Jayanthi, looked into my shirt pocket which fortunately had 500Rs. I took it and gave the priest. A Old man sitting near the Hanuman priest was saying, give it next week a day before Hanuman jayanthi , other wise, he will get sweets for himself and eat.The priest said no no , surely i will use it to get sweets for Hanuman.

I Din’t liked what the old man commented and wanted to indirectly say whats offered to God must belongs to God and even if the priest is going to have it, i think its right.

I told the hanuman priest

” Its Dakshina, so even if you get sweets for your little son, i will be happy”.

The priest replied” You come on Hanuman Jayanthi next saturday (24th december 2011).Your sweets will be offered to Hanuman”

I felt happy and directly went to Nagasai mandhir(shirdi  saibaba temple in coimbatore) and did some seva near holy Dhuni (sacred fire of Shirdi Sai baba)

My father made this Little Saibaba temple, after few month i kept Lord Ganesha and later Hanuman came

How Hanuman came into my little Sai mandhir:

Four month back,One of my friend Udayakumar invited me for birthday of his one year old son. I wanted to gift him something divine and got a Hanuman statue made in brass. I called up my Mother and told her am going to Udayakumars home and that i got a Hanuman statue as gift. My Amma said Hanuman has to be kept in a very sacred place and if you give as gift to kids, they might play and even if its kept in your friends home, it must be kept in pure place.

So i kept Hanuman with myself and got it home. Amma din’t wanted me to keep Hanuman inside the house as she said we have to be very clean and pure (i always keep my book self very dirty…he he and arrange it every 3-4 month).So i said is it ok to keep Hanuman near Saibaba in our temple. Amma and Appa approved this idea and thats how Hanuman came to my “Worlds smallest Saibaba temple”

Hanuman Jayanthi Pooja - Love the way the lamp glows as if it is thankful for being offered to Hanuman - Lets chant " Sri RamaJayam"

Waking up and cleaning on Holy Day of Hanuman Jayanthi:

I woke up at around 6.40 and decided to clean my room with water and also the Sai mandhir. Once i did that, the old man who cleans vessels in our house got me the milk pocket. I took it in a vessel and did Abishekam for Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman and our shirdi saibaba. We have Beetle plant in our house itself. So i plucked few beetle leaves, washed them and arranged infront of Sai.

Hanuman and the holy lamp - If our thoughts and actions are pure Hanuman will live in ourself as "Light"

I decided to light “11 LAMPS” keeping them over sacred Beetle leaves.

Soon the temple turned divine with 11 holy lamps lit to glorify and celebrate Hanuman Jayanthi. I was really happy for this friends. I had to make coffee for old dhottapa. so kept the milk in Gas stove and came running with my Camera. In between i used the change the song being played in my P.C ..Sai aarti, Hanuman Chalisa, Vishnu sahasranamam etc.

Saibaba’s Respect and Love for Lord Hanuman (Maruti is also called Anjaneyar in Tamilnadu)

Once it was raining in shirdi. Sai used to stay in the Hanuman mandhir near by dwarakamai . Rain water kept falling from the roof to platform (floor) where sai used to sit but saibaba continued to be there. A man asked him to go to the upper platform where Hanuman was also there. Sai told him

“We must not be in equal position of Maruti.”

This incident so beautifully explains sai always considered himself as Sevant of God and his immense love and respect for Lord Hanuman.

Saibaba’s blessings for child birth and suggestion to Repire the Hanuman mandhir adjacent to Dwarakamai:

A devotee named Gopal Gund married thrice (in late 18th century, men marry again if they can’t have child with first wife) but was none of his wife had a child. He went to Shirdi and saw saibaba in dwarakamai (holy Masjid). By sai grace Gopal Gund was blessed with a son. To express his gratitude, Gund requested saibaba’s permission to repire Dwarakamai. Gund would have wished to repair masjid because the roof of dwarkamai must have leaked during rain and also the floor must not have been good.

Sai who always lived a very ordinary life with out much comforts for himself suggested Gopal to repair the Hanuman mandhir adjacent to Dwarakamai. Gund happily agreed to do it. In Sai satcharitra, we can learn that this Gopal Gund also started the Annual fair celebrating Ram Navami in Shirdi in 1896-97.

How beautiful is Saibaba’s heart and way of life that he din’t want comfort for himself but considered repiring Hanuman mandhir to be more sacred work.

Power of Lord Hanuman – Anjaneyar:

Lord Anjaneyar is very powerful because when we were kids my sister was not feeling well. My Amma was consoling her when suddnely a letter written by one of Ammas relative fell down from the self on top. (Those days in 1986 people used to communicate by Inland letter). The letter had a Hanuman Mantra in tamil which my mother taught for us. So i believe Hanuman will bless us with purity of thoughts, actions and will power.

Light lamps at home or in temple for Hanuman regularly and keep chanting any mantra of Hanuman you can learn to recite especially Hanuman Chalisa.

People who dont know Hindi can easily learn other mantras.

God will fulfill earnest wishes of devotees:

Myfather has habit to write Sri Ramajayam in a note book everyday which also pleases Hanuman. Last year my father and a friend of his tried much to build a Hanuman temple inside our colony Ganesha mandhir campus. There was some men who were not interested in it ( including the priest) and it was stopped.

I felt happy Hanuman came to live happily in our Sai mandhir at home itself making it a Hanuman mandhir too. My humble request is when people try to spoil any good efforts you do, try to be calm. Gradually you will realize God will fulfill your wishes.

Why two Hanuman Jayanthi in tamilnadu(south india):

I went to Sakthi dham temple this evening to collect the prasad. The priest was happy to see me and Gave me sweets which i shared with my friends in Nagasai mandhir. A lady was asking how come there are 2 Hanuman jayanthi. The priest said North indians celebrate during april/may Chitra naksatra on full moon day and based on tamil scriptures, its celebrated on Moola nakshatra. Since its North indian temple in tamilnadu, They celebrate Hanuman Jayanthi on both the Nakshatra.

Note- Hanuman Jayanti comes in a different day in North india. In Tamilnadu we mostly call Hanuman as Lord Anjaneya or Anjaneyar.

It was tuesday morning 23rd november 2011. My parents are in U.S taking care of my sisters child katya as my sister is busy with her research work. Here in coimbatore, i am alone going to office for the small job sai gave me in a IT concern.

The day before, I was interested in making  a blog for Health care IT as i want to learn a lot. At office i was doing a web research about a new technology which involves sensors to give alert when a elderly person alone at home falls down. I did a complete research about various alert systems but i never sent the mail to anyone.

Everyday sai quotes mail from Srivaidheki :

That night one of my sai friend Srivaidheki who used to take one of the picture of shirdi saibaba and send a newsletter kind of mail to sai devotee friend of hers. The mail looks as below.

To my surprise this purticular mail featured saibaba of my house , sai wearing violet dress my dad stitched in 2007.

If a devotee is about to fall, I stretch out my hands to support him or her – Shri Shirdi SaiBaba

After i come from office, i try to reply mails from Sai devotees and spend very little time to watch srivaidekis mail. This time i stared at it for long because it was a coincidence that i was learning about new technology in healthcare that gives an alert when elderly people fall down and same night i see a quotes of sai with above picture. This happened on 22nd.

Cooking for someone old:

Next day i woke up at 6.30, hurried to keep cooker, rice for dhotappa the old man around 82 years who cleans vessels in our house and sweeps and keeps house clean. Amma asks me to make sure i give something for him to eat. So when parents went to U.S i atleast learnt to make coffee( to match standards of dhottapas taste) , rice and rasam.

My cousin and i used to joke that one day Dhottapa will write  a letter saying i am fed up having your rice and rasam. Honestly, i am cooking for myself but i can have in office canteen or hotel but old people needs home food. So though my taste not good, i make sure i wake up early to cook for dhotapa.

Chitappas stay in our house:

My dads younger brother, as we call in Tamil- Chitappa had come home as guest.

The day before he did not have food as his stomach was upset. He is a diabetic patient.On 23rd morning also he made Idly for dhotapa and myself. I did my usuall pooja and played sai kakad aarti in P.C and also skandha sashti kavasam.

Chitappa fainting due to low sugar:

I was about to start to office. It was over 8.15 and just about to move out. Suddenly for some reason i came back again near the wash basin and saw my chitappa walking towards bed and he is walking zig zag as if he cant balance. I ran towards him ..By that time, chitapa fell down , his forehead hit the cart and i was right behind him to hold him as he bounced back by the pain.

I started yelling “Sairam…Sairam…Sairam” still holding my chittapa…

I have done the same to my father in past and this time i do it for my fathers brother.

After that his body weight was as if hes gone , It was very painful for me to accept it. His neck fell down and he started breathing heaving. There was no one inside home but i kept shouting and yelling sairam…chitappa you have to live for your daughters to see their children…

He kept going down…i mean his pulse as i know his facial expressions. I don’t want this to happen in my home. A guest in Sai’s house can never face a difficulty.

I told him

“I don’t want this to happen in my house”

When i say this hope you understand what i meant…and what was the extrimity of the situation. Probably there was a plan by sai even in the position i holded my chitapa, the Refrigerator was very close to me. I had no difficulty opening it, took out water and made him drink. Then too no growth !

Lord Murugan – Karthikeya – Sai Murugan

What ever way way i call him,i know he has followed me and my family for generations togather as Murugan is our kula deivam.

3 weeks back my cousin Ram had gone to Palani Murugan hill temple and bought Panchamrutham ( sacred prasad of Murugan) in a tin. His parents took it for me 1 week back and used to have a little of panchamrutham every night.

I realized my chitappa is not able to come to conciousness because of low sugar. I can’t drop him to take sugar from kitchen. So i took the panchamrutham which has lots of sugar content and fed him in his mouth.

It did work friends but i had to wait a minute.In that one minute when he was going down more, i realized its over !

I dragged my chittapa saying sairam..sairam sairam….and took him 4-5 feet near hall. Suddenly i realized the panchamrutham has worked and chitappa is starting to come back to conciousness.

“I will save my devotees from the jaws of death”

some where in Sai satcharitra you find this assurance from sai and many times sai has proved it to me friends. I know Sai and Lord Murugan has proved how powerful is Panchamrutham. It gave life back to my chitappa.

The words i yelled Sairam sairam sairam is the mantra and the panchamrutham is the medicine that saved my chitappa.

I called fathers friend Sivasubramaniam uncle who was too kind, took chitappa to doctor and doctor said if sugar is 316 then its due to panchamrutham( venkat smiles) and he is safe now and medicines are not necessary. Well, He is a good doctor and knows what he is doing. Adviced my chitappa not to skip food anymore.

we reached home…chitappa said he had mental stress due to which he fainted…

I opened the sacred book Sree pada sree vallabha charitramrutham – a 13th century incarnation of Lord Dattatreaya. It speaks about the Greatness of Adumbara tree. In tamil Athi maram.

“When the time of death approaches, i will make my devotee face lots of mental agony and put him to shame.  I will provide the life force from adumbara tree during the devotees worst time and once their bad time is gone, their actual life force is restored. “

I changed above assurance in my own words as i don’t want to copy the content exactly. Please buy this sacred book from pithapuram – sri pada sree vallabha sanathan.

True to above assurace, my chittapa had fight with the person building the house of his daughter who keeps asking too much money and he had lots of stress.

Offering lunch to sai and lord Dattatreya – Sree pada Sreevallabha and Lord Murugan:

I wanted to thank all 33 crore gods for saving us and our family..so offered a bannana leaf in my prayer room..kept rice,sambar etc and then had some for myself and some for crow.

My chitappa had tears in his eyes thinking about how kind was sai to save him.

After lunch, i showed him the mail from Srivaideki with the assurance…

If a devotee is about to fall, I stretch out my hands to support him or her – Shri Shirdi SaiBaba

He really felt happy that Sai only has saved him.Its sai who made me come back into house when i already was about move out to office. I noticed chitapa about to fall down and ran to hold him from his back or he would have had fallen and hit back of his head also on floor. Atleast the cart had soft cloths on it friends.

How can i thank saibaba of shirdi for this leela..

Is there something i can do to thank Murugan for sending us the panchamrutham and making me get idea to feed it in chitapas mouth in that moment we never know what to do next.

How can i thank Sree PadhaSree Vallabha who am sure sent the life force from his sacred Adumbara tree to save my chittapa.

My usual seva in Nagasai mandhir – offering garland to Sai on top of temple:

As usual i went to Nagasai mandhir , climbed on top of the temple and offered garland to all 5 big baba. I called chitapa from terrace near Gopuram and enquired if hes safe as i left him alone in home. He said hes fine and happy to hear from me.

I plucked few Neem tree leaves as usual…4-5 leaves and came home !

(In temple i also met a old man who has personally met Narasimha swamiji in 1950s in mylapore saibaba temple, chennai and today he had finished parayan of sai satcharitra, so gave him a big sai photography i did as gift..he was sooooo happy)

Sai has also saved my sister !

In temple i was telling my sai friends…sai is doing leela but we people have so much desires, we want sai to perform many leela on same day. we are so cunning and never satisfied.

My parents called up from U.S and i told them everything. Asked my parents to take care of their health as its winter and only sai has to keep them safe. My parents said , the day before, my sister Indra also worked day and night for her Research work and fainted in Lab itself.

One of her friend has found her in same position for long and shocked to see her almost unconcious state. So took her home safely. Indra had neck pain and works day and night. Sai really has saved Indra also friends.

So thats 2 Sai leela friends…

In India…..i helped my chittapa by sai grace…thousands of miles away in America some girl has helped my sister to reach home safe.

Moral of the story !

The good deed you do some day some where,reaches you or your family living somewhere,some day or the same day, the same moment!

My parents were worried but they also believed its Sai who protected us..

Coming back to the new technology in medicine, healthcare, IT to help elderly people and sick people.

I agree Doctors are doing their best and we need them…Scientists ..research scholars like my sister and Brother in law are doing their best too and the people in Healthcare Tech too are doing their best but

beyond all this,

We need path of Love and Path of Devotion.

The path Saibaba of Shirdi showed me friends.

Imagine how great it will be if every son, daughter decides to keep their parents safe in their old age and watches every move they make carefully.will there be so many cases of elderly people falling down?

Doctors, Technology and scientists are a must but if we have love, that alone will work wonders.

Secondly, the path of devotion – Guru bhakti is essential ..

Atleast in old age, try to remember any favourite God you love. Honestly i can’t say ‘Any” Guru because modern saints/gurus can’t be trusted. My guru is sweet and i know my Saibaba of shirdi can be the greatest Guru for every life on earth but its your own wish to cage him in your heart or move to modern Gurus.

My chitappa was busy with his government work all his life but atleast these few days i spent with him , i reliazed he developed his love for sainath and sai gave him the best gift he and his daughters could ask for.

Something i wish to share from bottom of my heart friends.

I never thanked Sai the way i must have because his leela is taken for granted or i din’t realize  how hard it is for saints to do such leela- Miracles.

When i was in saibaba temple this evening, i  would have shed tears and thanked him , saayeeeeeeeeeeee…you did this ! but I din’t.

Thats why i sat back late night and started writing all that happened friends because i know when i write. I shed tears.

I know i have thanked Shirdi Saibaba, the way he should be.

I have nothing to give you Sai and i am always receiving from you and millions of shirdi saibaba devotees are, If only they know what you mean when you say

“If a devotee is about to fall, I stretch out my hands to support him or her”

Be it a relationship problem or health issues or problem in studies and career or any pains that you are facing now,Friends, always remember Shirdi saibaba with love.

simply chant “Sairam sairam sairam” in mind when ever you feel like…

You will realize Sai will never let you fall and if you do, he will stretch out his hands to support you.

When God Listens. …
He is listening at all times, we are just unaware and think .. that he isn’t .it takes time for us to believe and see, that it actually happens..

Prayers to buy a House :

My parents were settled in the US for almost 6 years, when they started looking for a house in April of 2008, we are a family of four., I was visiting my parents for the first time during that year
…we started with 2bedroom houses, it was a good time to buy a home as the prices of homes were low my parents were Old enough to own one now…
Initially when we started the search was slow, but then the desire to own a home of our own was kind of kindling in our head and heart and we were done staying in a rented accommodation.  My parents filed the bid for many houses , one after the other. Sometimes more, sometimes less than the quoted price. But tough luck…They would go to open
houses, short sale and did almost everything possible to buy a house…but I guess the time was not right…
I was by this time back in India, working, leading my life, I would be online with my sister, checking all the houses that they were interested in and believe me, by now it was already October and we were nowhere close to buying a home.

Believing Shirdi Saibaba will give a house i loved:

My parents had faced disappointment too many times already. Anyway in the month of
December, my Sister and I really liked a house, and my father also placed a bid for it..and for the first time I wrote in my prayer book ….

Thanks for giving this house to us and (wrote the address of the house and also the date 15th December 2008) and as usual  we didn’t get the house..

From January 2009 to March 2009, they filled up another 8 to 10 homes, each time their frustration rising , but they carried on relentlessly. In march we were close to buying one and almost paid the initial amount, when the owner’s last minute bait and switch, let us down..
My Sister and Parents by now, had stopped telling me about the developments regarding the house, each time mounting frustration and hopes crashing down and what seemed so simple for the world, was like the the most difficult thing for us to achieve. It was the fag end of
April by now we had filled up a total of 20 or more houses in the last
one year and the result was just the same..
One day after, I had finished talking to my Sister she thought she hung up and I could actually hear her and my mom talking about some auction, though didn’t understand much of it and hung up…The next morning, I visited sai baba’s(Shirdi) temple, which was a regular
ritual for me, my prayers in that book are too baba as well .

Sometimes we fight to sai ! Give me my beautiful house baba !

In the temple, I had my fighting session with baba, where I told him that he had been unjust and unkind and not once did I feel guilty for what I said. I drove back home and slept, as it was a Sunday, only to be woken up to a Call by my Dad and he said….

” We have bought a house”

after a week of hardwork I was in deep slumber, I was having difficulty identifying the difference between  a dream and reality and then to hear it again ” We have bought a house” . I knew about all the houses that they were interested in, his next statement was something
that shook me beyond belief he said remember, we had filed this house twice before and we didn’t get it, I filed for this house in December and January,

I jumped out of the bed and reached for my Prayer book and read the address of the house, that I had thanked baba on the 15th of December 2008 and it was that very house, we got this house in an auction $75000 cheaper, than what it was in December, thanks to my uncle also, who was our realtor, he was god sent for us….

Shirdi Sai baba fulfills your desire little later when you least expected it :

I actually understood the meaning of these two words faith(shradha) and patience(saburi), easy to preach and difficult to follow, all this is beyond a miracle. This house is bigger than what we ever thought, that we could own, it still seems like a dream, since then, this is
just one of the many miracles or prayers that have been answered, telling me, that he is listening all the time and I can’t ever thank him enough for this one…

Being surrounded by wonderful sai devotees as close friends is one of the gift i got in this birth. We all have our own negatives, positives etc but one thing in common amoung us is “Love for Sainath”.

One of my best sai friends are Renuka Mohan’s family…Though i have never met most of my sai devotee friends, i could visualize everyones bhakti whole heartedly. I wish to share their 2011 Shirdi Trip experiences here.

By Sai’s grace every year we go to shirdi in Sept / Oct. Last year, we could go in Nov. only

We are planning to leave for shirdi on the 7th October (Friday) early morning. that day we will be going to Kolhapur, have Maa Lakshmi’s dharshan/ stay there, next morning, start to Shirdi, will reach Shirdi that evening. Baba has to be with us through out. Should come back to Bangalore by 13th night.

Mohan’s Birthday is on 9th Oct. He wanted to be with Baba  on that day. so we have planned accordingly.

October 14, 2011 – Sharing beautiful divine experiences after coming back from Shirdi trip

Sai Ram Friends,
How are you all
By Sai’s grace, we had a good trip & we came back home last night.
We had been to Kolhapur, shirdi, Shani Shingnapur & Pandarpur.
We had good experiences this time too in shirdi.
But before writing all that, I want to share some of my thoughts with you all here.

Friends, I know many of you are living in far off countries. You might not have visited Shirdi for years now.

I swear upon my Sai, Sai is more vibrant, alive & responsive in our pooja places in our homes than in shirdi.
I tell you this from my own experiences, if this is not right may sai pardon me.
Shirdi is crowded beyond imagination. After waiting for more than three hours in the queue for samadhi Mandir dharshan, one is pushed out by Securities as they do in thirupathi. The Securities are very very rude.

Things have changed like anything in shirdi. this is the 7th consecutive trip to shirdi for me. & how was it in the 1st year & how was it in this trip. I can write an essay on it.

Maharashtra schools are closed for dhasara/Diwali vacations, so the crowd is touching 3 lakhs per day, they say.
Poor Sai must be feeling real, real tired, I feel.

Some things which I enjoyed the most in this trip are:

We were in shirdi for 5 days. Daily EArly mornings, I used to get up at 3.30, take bath & was sitting & singing Kakad aarthi in Dwarkamayee, then see Abhishekam & sit & recite VSN in Chavadi, go to gurusthan, hanuman, shani, ganesh & shiva temples & them come back to our room. Tis was a fantastic experiece. Very very blissful. I never knew that they play VSN in the temple there. As abhishekam is done, VSN is going on there. The Security lady would allow me to sit inside chavadi & recite VSN there.

Mohan had wonderful experiences this time too.
Let me put all that in my next thread.

Friends, wherever you are, just keep your eyes closed & say Sai Sai Sai. It is our shirdi. No need to feel bad that you can not go there.I promise Sai is with you in your home, dont worry.I prayed for each & every one of you sitting in Dwarkamayee.

Sasi called up the next day to tell shailaja’s reunion with her husband. ( we are sai devotee friends who care for each other and closely follow others life too ) I felt very happy & thanked Sai Bow to Shirdi Sai Maharaj

Sweets and flowers from shirdi saibaba:

It was Mohan’s Birthday. We were standing in the queue in Dwarkamayee. As we were touching the dhuni (It is completely closed now) & were heading to have dharshan of Sai(Shamrao Jayakar ji’s photo), a priest came from somewhere & handed over four sweets to Mohan ( I was standing before him & a gentle man behind him, the queue was very long. He never even looked at others, he just came, smiled at Mohan & gave him the sweets. We were stunned.

He said in the hotel that he wanted 9 flowers from samdhi mandir, he didnt get any till night. But before we could go back to our room, when he went for dharshan in the special queue, he was given a bunch of roses, ofcourse there were 9 flowers in it.

Before we could start to Bangalore, he went in side to have samadhi mandir dharshan (previously they would allow me to go along with him, now even physically challenged persons are not allowed with out passes, they have to go alone only), for a fraction of a second, Sai bent his head as if to look at him, he said. He was very happy & almost crying at this unique experience.

On his birthday, a small boy came running to Mohan & opened his right hand& placed a pocket of sugar candies & ran away.

In Khandoba temple, we could do complete aarthi to Khandoba raya & sai nath ( all the 4 of us) & they gave him jilebis .

So these were Mohan’s experiences.

Beautiful Shirdi Saibaba Cooking statue :

When me & my daughters were walking in Dwarkamayee road, suddenly I saw an idol of sai (the cooking posture) a very big marble idol it was. I felt that I shd get a sticker atleast in that handi / cooking posture & wanted to place it in the pooja place that I have made in my Kitchen. I was asking Charanya to take a photo of that idol & give me. she sadi we will search for stickers of that pose. We searched in  a shop, but he said it is not there in  any of the shops.

Just as we came out of that shop, a lady came running towards us selling Sai’s ssmall photoes put in asmall frames. Ashu was so happy to see the first phot handed over to her, yes ofcourse it is Sai’s cooking posture. This morning I placed Him in the teepoy in my kitchen & started the day with Naivedyam to Him.
