Don’t show off your status, power and authority to Saibaba. All are equal in Sai temple

Sairam friends,

I slept off so deeply this morning. My Mom said, she has severe hand pain. Then too, I din’t woke up to ask her what happen. I simply thought “Amma is getting too weak” and slept off.

I got a dream like this. My friends at work and myself were going near a place in North Coimbatore. It was dark. A police women in her late 50’s was standing there. She saw me and was happy to see me. She says “Very few can be like you people”..Like she’s appreciating all my friends along with me. One of my friend is holding her sweater. I beat his hand and say “Don’t do it” as she may take it as offense.. he he…But she’s a good women who doesn’t show off that she’s in a big position. She takes us to a house where many other Police men. We are there as her guest. It was as if she wants to honor us.

I wondered what kind of dream is this when I woke up.

I can relate this dream to reality.

Many people come’s to Saibaba temple to show off their status and power. You can come in your uniform but better keep off your silly status. Some police women/men even keep their wireless phone “ON” when they come inside temple which is humiliating Baba. Baba don’t like anyone disturbing his devotees. Many times, I have seen someone doing this and she shows off as if she knows everyone in the temple etc. She might be good but she’s proud of her position.

I used to think in mind, “Are you showing off to devotees of the Saint who ruled the 3 universe? You do…Sai will dump you down someday”.

Once, When I was coming home from Saibaba temple, I saw a very simple police women near our place and told Baba, “This old women is also in similar position but she’s simple. She comes to temple calmly and goes without a word to anyone.”

I realized this is why Saibaba showed her in dream to me. May be she too knows StarSai. We never know.

What matters is, learn to accept reality that nothing is permanent in life. You can rich, powerful or belong to elite status and family but if you hurt innocent and ordinary people, you will certainly face difficulties in future.

Secondly, When you come to Saibaba temple, shed off all your ego and come inside. Do not try to get attention of devotees or humiliate us with your gadgets. Learn to have discipline in the temple.

Another, inequality I have seen is that priests and people who do “So called” Service in the temple will shout like anything if anyone unknowingly attends a phone call but they themselves will take all rights to speak on phone.  You can have rules in temple but do not shout. No body is your slave just because you are doing service.

I have experienced many people doing seva gradually gets this ego and dominate other devotees. Kindly remember

“Sai is slave of every single devotee. If you hurt a innocent devotee, you are hurting sai himself.

You are not protecting the countries border in Kashmir. You are simply doing a small service right. I myself sometimes used to shout due to lots of tension in crowd but I make sure that I don’t hurt any individual devotee.

Think about Politicians, Business men/women, People belonging to influencing status/power and devotees who are rich. Many of them knows to behave properly at least inside the temple. Be it Shirdi or any other Saibaba temple. They simply come and go without bothering others.

But some people simply show off too much that Saibaba has to hold his teeth and sit silently just because he can’t stop people coming to his temple. Remember, Sai wants you to be disciplined and throw away all your status symbol even when you are doing your work. Sai wants you to completely ego less and surrender to his holy feet.

Note – I am not trying to hurt any one specifically through this article. I am simply writing whats happening today not only in Sai temple but every where in the society.

I also don’t like it when people who are popular and belongs to high status are given importance in temple and others are ignored. Just look at devotion. Even a poor, simple devotee or someone with out a Job or any status can be truly devoted to Baba. He also deserves Sai’s blessing in the form of smile. Respect. flower as a gift.

The people who are ordinary like us are loosing our rights to live in peace. Sai is the savior of people like us friends. Sai can’t tolerate any injustice happening to us.

Saibaba will certainly show us a way and protect us.

One of the reason, I keep calling myself as “Little servant of Shirdi Saibaba” is that I wanted to tell myself that I am only his humble servant. This alone is true and I will remain his servant for life time. Let there be no trace of ego in me.

Make me humble and polite Saibaba.

Sai blessings
