Do not trust diamond. Your soul is your diamond

Written by venkatraman

Sairam friends,

Last night, I started late from work as it was raining. I asked one of my friend to drop in a place from where I had to take bus. These days, I don’t like to go by Car to work. I feel that my physical activity is being reduced and I got more lazy due to it. I also miss the company of friends who drop me. I get bored when I am driving alone. So I enjoy going with others. As long as I have friends to take me, I can follow this because I feel car is an addiction and I am trying to keep a balance but I am already getting used to it. Its surpring that when ever someone asks if I came by car that day, I say “Jolly! No car day”. he he..

Every Wednesday, I used to cliamb on the terrace of Nagaai Mandir and offer garland to the 5 Saibaba statues on top. In 2009, I wrote this article about Nagasai Mandir

3 lesson from Shirdi Saibaba – Garland to saibaba statue on top of Temple

It was already 9.15 at night. I called up my friends who will be standing out for a chat after temple is closed to take the garlands out from Dwarakamai as I am on way. I reached temple at 9.30. The gate was closed and the securities asked what do I need? I told them to open it so that I shall offer garland as tommorow is Thursday. I ran to Dwarakamai, took garlands and cliamed up on terrace. I love such dark moments with Saibaba. Imagine how nice it would be when I alone have all the company of Sai in this huge temple.

I offered garlands one by one to all Big Sai statues and the main Kalash on Gopuram of the temple. It was slipery due to slight drizzle but I managed. I enjoyed the whole 10-15 minutes I did this work offering garlands to Saibaba in terrace of temple. Then, I walked down, stood outside Dwarakamai and talked to him for few minutes.

Here’s a beautiful Dwarakamai Saibaba

Dwarakamai Saibaba

I love this Dwarakamai Saibaba

One of the reason I do this is because sometimes, Thursday morning gets too busy in the temple that even some guys who do service don’t have time to offer garland. Few weeks back, it even got dried as none was able to focus on it.

I finally reached home at around 10.30. I was too upset with something and I told Sai to show me a way.

Saibaba blessed me with so many long dreams early in the morning. I could only remember few.

An isolated house where you get everything to take away

In the first dream, I saw an isolated house in a very beautiful scenic form. I walk into that place and see the house has so many gadgets and decorative items in it. Its all spreaded here and there for any one to take. None seems to stop anyone from carrying what they desire and walk away. I even hear a man discussing with his friend “Its a nice place to relax and take away what ever you like”.

The dream means to say, theres so much God wants to give us but we don’t realize it. Sai’s treasure is always free to take.

In the second dream, I am going into an ashram kind of place. A meditation centre. I usually don’t like such people who sell meditation in the name of an organization. So I curiously watch what’s happening. The men there promote their method of meditation and try to influence people. Finally, I go near a room where a man tells others the following words

“Do not trust diamond. Your soul is your diamond”

Though I did not like such environment where people cheat others in the name of spirituality, I admired what this man is telling people sitting around him.

I tried to ask myself why I got such words from Saibaba in dream.

It could be because one of my Sai friend kept requesting me to wear a diamond ring. She told me that it will bring me all happiness in life. She had someone spiritually inclined who had told this to her for me. She was upset that I did not follow her words. I very humbly told her that Sai grace is different from diamond ring but I am not against what she said. I know she cares for me and a very good wellwisher.

The words could also mean the external appearance and the importance we give to people based on their looks. Some girls look very beautiful. Some men look Handsome. But its their “Innermost feelings and thought process” that matters for Sai. Their good heart and the purity of their soul must be considered when we get attracted to them.

Sai means to ask us to look for inner beauty in every one.

There’s an incident in Sai Satcharita where Saibaba is being called by Gangagir Baba as “This is a Diamond on the dung-hill”

In 2015, I wrote this article –  Saibaba, You are a diamond found in the depth of river Godavari

I forgot the articles I wrote earlier. So I myself search for related keywords when I get such dreams.

Here’s the one I wrote in 2014 – If you deserve Koh-i-Noor Diamond, you will get it

I am getting late to work now.

Sai blessings to you and your family.

Om Sai Ram

Today I am not going to Saibaba temple near office. I wanted to show him that I am upset with him for all that he did to me but may be, I will go. Lets see…
