I would like to share these beautiful Shirdi Sai baba photos taken in a Small Shirdi Sai Baba temple in Andheri east near seepz. Its not the typical temple . Its just a balcony in first floor of a company where theres this Big Shirdi Saibaba statue and devotees offer garland, do Aaarti and prayers.  The temple is located in the road opposite to Good luck hotel.

Theres another saibaba temple almost close to seepz bus stand in andheri east where i go regularly. But these pictures are taken in the one in first floor of some company.The below photos are taken by my student friend in his mobile. Though it was taken with permission of temple care takers i was not using it for long. Since today is thursday i would like to gift this beautiful Shirdi Sai baba to all Sai devotees.

Theres a devotee here who used to write Saibaba’s name sitting in corner of this temple. When i first went to Mumbai in 2006, i used to go regularly to this temple. I gave this devotee 3 little photos of Sai baba and told him few good words about Sainath.

Later after over 2 years i again went to this temple and the devotee recogonized me and told “I was thinking about you a lot today and you came”. He showed me 3 little photos i gave him before 2 years and said all these days i have been looking at the photos you gave me and writing Saibaba’s name .

I was really shocked how this devotee gave so much importance to the saibaba picture i gave him. I used to give saibaba photos to thousands but am sure this devotee alone has seen it for long long time.

When i left mumbai, i gave him a big Sai baba photo and he immediately laminated it.

A polite advice :

Theres only one Sai, Saibaba of Shirdi.

Once i noticed this devotee whom i consider very staunch devotee of saibaba believing in someone else ( other false guru ) other than saibaba. He told me hes serving baba. I said dont be ignorant. Theres only one Sai, thats Saibaba of shirdi.He dint accepted my views but i hope sai shows him the right way. My humble request dont read this and ask him about such things if you ever go to the temple. Infact every sai devotee i come across has something good to teach me. They are human in the end with all positives and negatives . I see their devotion part alone.

Goddess Durga is one of the goddess whom i love a lot because in 1999 my mother taught me to light Lemon lamps to Goddess Durga in temple. I used to go to Kabaleeswarar temple in Chennai and light lamps to Goddess Durga. Mostly there will be ladies devotees but some how my love for lighting lamps started with Goddess Durga Devotion and i thank Durga devi for blessing me to spread the greatness of Lighting lamps to all children of God

I have a sweet Memory of this Lord Ganesha. In tamil nadu we call Ganesha mostly as Vinayakar and also Pillayar. Once a very good guru of my parents Mani iyer asked me and my father to apply oil to Ganesha statue under the Arasa Maram (Granite Ganesha kept under Tree ) and do abishekam – holy bath , apply kumkum for 12 sundays.

It was year 2000. I felt shy to do such things in Colony temple.So my father wakes me at 4 Am . we both take some water in  a vessel, oil, kumkum viboothi and worhsip this ganesha.

After 9 years in 2009, during ganesha temple kumbabishekam in our colony, this Ganesha was kept as Kanni moolai Ganapathy in corner of temple.

We kept Lord Ganesha statue and Shirdi saibaba side by side. I did something in photoshop really dunno what i did and it came out like this.. The first avatar of lord dattatreya Shree paadha shree vallabha is born on Ganesha chaturti in 13th century. Hence i felt Lord Ganesha himself is a Guru like our Sai Dattatreya. So the 3 faces of Ganesha . Lets Bow to Ganesha and accept him as  a Guru.

Lets worship Lord Ganesha also as Guru Dattatreya.

About the Beautiful dream i got asking me to light 12 lamps :

Sairam friends,

In August 2009, i got a dream as if Lord Ganesha has our shirdi saibaba’s drawing in his heart. We have seen Lord Hanuman with Rama and sita devi on his chest. Similarly in the dream i saw Lord Ganesha having our saibaba in his heart and below that a drawing of Lord Venkateswara.

In the dream a lady also said to my mother “Light 12 lamps” ..Actually we have many lamps in our prayer room but since oil price increased my father just lights 2 lamps . After this dream i try to light all the 12 lamps when ever i have the memory of this beautiful dream.

During this dream my father and his friends were taking efforts to do kumbabishekam to Lord Ganesha temple in our colony. The kumbabishekam also Went well.

My father along with his friends was taking lord of efforts for month to do Kumbabishekam ( they do once every 12 years to temple ) to Ganesha temple in our colony. No one came farward for his holy effort in beggining. Then i got a book about Ganesha and his greatness to my father. He read the book and gradually temple works started. On the kumbabishekam day, they create such holy fires – Haawan and i loved to photograph Ganesha drawing
