Blessings of Andal with Parrot and Lord Shiva in the form of Vaitheeswaran

Sairam friends,

This morning, I came across a shop where they were selling Love Birds inside the cage and felt why do they lock these little birds inside the cage? A Bird is born to fly and not be caged inside. Then I thought may be people love feeding the birds and taking care of them and I can’ find faults in everything.

Even Astrologers who use parrot to take chits and foretell the future of devotees are actually hurting the Bird though they feed it. The cage is too little for the parrot even to move around.  But these are poor people earning their living by using the Parrot and some knowledge. There are worse fraud and injustice happening in the name of Religion across the globe and no one can stop them unless devotees are careful.

Anyway,I want to write about few dreams and experiences I had this week end.

My Father was very eager to give Photos of Gods I took in the colony Ganesha Temple. He kept asking me to print Lord Shiva and Parvathi Photos. Another uncle also told, If you make a poster, we can sell it to devotees as it would be a income to the temple for maintenance.My Father wrote me in Tamil what he wants to be written over the Gods Pictures. I thought its a good seva and went to the printer with my pictures in Pen drive.

I spent more than a hour there to get it designed and printed 50 copies. The size was quite big in  A4 and I really liked the result. One the way home one of my Father’s friend smiled to me. I went into their home and he asked how is the photos you took in Temple. I told him, I just printed it and gave him a Photo of Shiva and Parvathi as Gift. He liked it.

He said “Shiva has given his left side for Parvathi. So she is supposed to be on the left side of the Lord”

I told him, My Father drew and gave this way and I printed it. He said its OK.

I came home and showed the Photos to my Father. He liked it very much but since temple people wanted to sell, he asked me how much it costed to print. I told him but made sure this time, let it be our gift to devotees. I shall give the designed CD. If they wanted to sell it, let them print it on their own.

I told my Father “You give these pictures as gift to all the people who do seva in temple and your friends” .Rest give it to anyone in-charge of Temple. Let them decide to sell or give as gift for devotees who does Pooja.”

The Photo was of Goddess Thaiyalnayagi and Lord Vaitheeswaran (  Parvathi and Shiva) . I took this Photo in the Siddhi Vinayakar Temple in my hometown.

In the evening, My Father took some Gods Photo with him to give to his friends in Temple and I started to my friends wedding reception. I was making fun of everyone saying you are from Top management. Why don’t you ask for blazer from someone who recently comes with blazer to work and wear it?

I took video of the man who make dosa quickly and really liked it. I called it “dosa” My friend who’s very keen in Tamil said “Its Dosai”..Nee periya westerna.I said but it tastes the same.

I came back home late night and slept off. Thank God my parents didn’t took about Marriage topic  and I was happy too.

Sacred dream – Blessings of Andal with Parrot

I usually get some dreams but some dreams are too divine and vivid and has some connection with happenings in past. You know one of the girl at work is from Srivilliputhur. She had got a Parrot made of leaf few month back to gift someone. I also liked it and kept telling her go to your hometown, your Mom is missing you. This is because I want her to get me the parrot made of leaf from Andal’s temple.

Today I was blessed with below dream…

We are in a very sophisticated place like a trade show or an IT park but its too futuristic.I see someone from my office and she’s giving prize to everyone in my Team. Finally, she calls me and gives a Parrot’s cage.It was red in color and I tell her “Its so beautiful. I shall keep my parrot inside this”

It was as if she gives me the parrot cage especially because she believes I already have a parrot with me at home. I woke up after this dream and realized its blessing of Goddess Andal because I used to think may be my life will be good only when Andal blesses me with the Parrot made of leaf. I wrote a article about Goddess Andal in temples section.

I was happy since Andal has come to live in our home with a real parrot which is why she blesses me with a Cage in dream. I don’t like caging her but I know she loves to live in our home flying around as she wishes and having the food she lives to have and listening to the songs she likes..he..he..

Though I was praying Goddess Andal to bless me with the Parrot made of Leaf from Srivilliputhur, In the dream, she showed me a vision of real parrots happily living in my house.

After this, I had another dream…

Then I see me, my parents and our relatives going to a Huge temple. Me, my Amma and Appa go with relatives but someone asks us to visit sannidhi of Goddess. So we all go there and have darshan of Goddess and Light lamps.

Then me, Amma and Appa go to another side of temple so that we spend our time away from relatives and talk personally. I am with tears and say Mom, God has not blessed me yet.

I woke up and remembered the word “Tiruchaandu’ and remembered that its  given as prasad in Vaitheeswaran Temple. I felt happy for the blessing of Shiva and Parvathi.

Sacredness of Lord Shiva to heal diseases of devotees in Vaitheeswaran Temple

The Lord of planet Mars – Angaraka has suffered from Leprosy and was cured by Vaidhyanathaswamy in this Temple. Hence Vaidheeswaran Kovil is considered as one among the Navagraha Temples. Parvati requested her son, Subramanya to appear with one face from his regular appearance of six faces. Murugan appeared as Muthu Kumara Swami. Parvathi was pleased and presented him with vel (a weapon) to slay the demons.

Subramanya overcame the asura Surapadman (a demon) and in the war, his army was severely injured.  Shiva came out as the healer Vaitheeswaran and cured the wounds. Like Panneer ilai Vibhuthi of Tiruchendur Temple, The “Tiruchaandu Urundai” (called in Tamil) which is covered with Vibhuti of deity heals various incurable diseases. It can be procured at the temple.

Goddess Parvathi as Thaiyalnayagi glittering – Turning her to Gold

I loved the dream and felt Lord Vaitheeswaran and Thaiyalnayagi has blessed our family for the little seva I did printing photos and asking my father to gift it to devotees. I believe Lord Shiva has blessed my parents with good health.

Many devotees might think why I often write about dreams. Well, I find Saints uses dreams to inspire and motivate us. Dreams are not really clear or meaningful but I try to understand it in my own way.

I feel blessed because both Andal and Lord Shiva blessed me today with these dreams. Hope Sai shows me a way.

(I will be happy if people who like having birds as pets realize its good to let them free to fly. You gain the punya of releasing the birds but make sure if its love birds, the crows doesn’t chase them and they are left in good natural environment. Its always your own choice and can say if people can have Dogs as pets why not Birds?

You decide whats good for you and the sweet birds. We can say our opinion to Sai Children but can’t expect them to follow it. Sai never had any restrictions but had said he lives in all life. So its up to you)
